    This package contains well over 500 Cuban tobacco plant seeds. Brought back from a holiday in Havana, I am growing these 6 foot tall tobacco plants now in Canada. They are planted in a different garden to avoid cross pollination with other tobacco plants. You will get pure, 100% Cuban tobacco for cigars. The tobacco from this plant produces a strong cigar tasting smoke. One plant can provide around 155 gram of tobacco. Used for cigars as filler and wrapper. This Cuban tobacco can also be used to blend a stronger cigarette or pipe tobacco. Acclimatized to a cooler northern climate (zone 2), these mature plants can survive a short, mild frost of about 26.6 degrees Fahrenheit. They grow even better in warmer regions. Instructions with four pictures showing the plant development stages are included.

USA customers: These plants have a Cuban heritage, but they have been growing for years in Canada. You will be getting these Havana seeds from Canada and not from Cuba. By buying them you are not breaking the trade embargo against Cuba.

If you want your tobacco plants to develop plenty of seeds, then planting some catnip nearby is advisable. No other plant draws as many bees or other insects for pollination into your garden. This package contains some free catnip seeds.

TIP: Store seeds in a freezer to keep them viable for many decades. Acclimatize for two weeks to room temperature before seeding.
